NAVFIT 98A is a performance evaluation software used within the Navy for the assessment and documentation of personnel performance. It offers various features that enhance the evaluation process, such as performance tracking, evaluation generation, and feedback analysis tools.

The features associated with NAVFIT 98A focus on providing a structured way to evaluate and track the performance of service members. Performance tracking allows supervisors to monitor an individual's achievements and areas for improvement over time. Evaluation generation assists in compiling performance evaluations in a standardized format based on established criteria. Feedback analysis tools enable the examination of evaluation results to facilitate discussions between senior enlisted and junior personnel regarding development and progression.

Contrastingly, social networking capabilities do not align with the primary functions of NAVFIT 98A. The software is specifically designed for performance management rather than social interaction or networking among users. Therefore, the lack of social networking features clearly differentiates NAVFIT 98A's purpose and functionality from other platforms that may include such capabilities.
